The Oxford University Scholarship
The Harris Kyriakides Foundation and the University of Oxford have entered into a five-year agreement for providing funding of scholarships to law students from Cyprus. The scholarship programme will be in effect from 2023 to 2027, with the Harris Kyriakides Foundation awarding a £10,000 scholarship annually. Eligible candidates for the scholarship include both Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot students in either the Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) or the Magister Juris (MJur) degrees who have selected Principles of Civil Procedure as one of their elective modules.

For the academic year 2023-2024, the scholarship has been awarded to Cleopatra Khattab, a student in the BCL program at the University of Oxford.

For the academic year 2024/2025 the scholarship was awarded to Konstantinos Giorkas, a DPhil candidate at the Faculty of Law of University of Oxford, whose thesis is provisionally titled “Human Rights Law and jus ad bellum—A Relation of Indifference?”.
