The Speaker

We were honored to welcome Steven Gee KC as the keynote speaker for the inaugural lecture. With an illustrious career spanning several decades, Steven is widely recognized for his expertise in commercial litigation, arbitration, and legal ethics. He is a specialist in various fields, including Commercial Fraud, Cross-border Disputes, Chancery conflicts of Law, Professional Negligence, and Insolvency. A graduate of Oxford University and Harvard University, Steven was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1975 and became a Queen’s Counsel in 1993. He is also admitted to practice in multiple jurisdictions, including New York, the Eastern Caribbean, and the Irish Bar. His breadth of experience as an expert witness, judge, and educator further cements his reputation as a leader in his field. In addition to his legal practice, Steven is the author of Gee on Commercial Injunctions, a leading textbook on the subject. His extensive contributions to legal scholarship and his remarkable career make him a highly respected figure in both commercial law and the global legal community.
