Educational Initiatives

The Harris Kyriakides Foundation is committed to promote ethical excellence within the legal profession through targeted educational programs designed specifically for young lawyers. Each year, we organize a series of lectures, workshops, and interactive seminars that focus on the core principles of legal ethics and professional conduct. These sessions not only emphasize the fundamental standards of the legal profession but also provide emerging legal professionals with the essential skills and ethical frameworks needed to navigate the complex challenges of their practice. By instilling a strong ethical foundation early in their careers, our initiatives aim to inspire the next generation of lawyers to uphold the integrity, values, and professionalism that are central to the legal field.

In 2024, we were honored to host the inaugural memorial lecture in memory of Mr. Harris Kyriakides, marking a significant milestone in our foundation’s commitment to legal education and ethics. The first Annual Memorial Lecture featured Steven Gee KC as the distinguished speaker, who delivered a compelling presentation on Legal Ethics. With decades of experience in commercial litigation and arbitration, Steven Gee KC is renowned for his expertise in fields such as Commercial Fraud, Cross-border Disputes, Chancery conflicts of law, Professional Negligence, Sanctions, and Insolvency.
